The atmosphere before the Villa match was the best I'd heard since the Real match but the players were still overly nervous in the first half and lucky not to be 1-0 down.

What might help against Liverpool is knowing they aren't being chased by an unstoppable force.

Sicario2 Huge news. IMO he's their best player after Rodri and Haaland and his goals at the start of last season helped them stay in it for longer than they had business doing. Just watching him in the last 20 minutes of that Sunderland game showed how valuable he can be as he turned into their best attacker. Even if they replace him with Guehi, it's a huge loss for the overall dynamism of this City team.

samthegooner yep and I remember vividly in 2023/2024 the bastard kept coming up with goals from LB position. Scored so many crucial goals that season. Him being out is as crucial as us being 6 points clear. Let’s fucking take this chance with open arms.
