People are easily fooled by stats. A player that cannot dribble for shit, is a high turnover machine, has the legs of an 80 years old grandad and has spent his whole career playing for nothing clubs and a midtable PL side (Man Utd) can just waltz his way into our team…..yeah right!
Bruno is Man United’s best player but he’s very much part of the problem in their midfield IMO. His high risk all or nothing style of play is not suitable to a high possession (control) based side like ours, that is not even mentioning his physical limitations to play our high intensity pressing game. He’s best used very close to the striker where his careless passing won’t mess up the team’s build up play in a team that employs underdog tactics. Ten Hag played a very dominant possession based football at Ajax but couldn’t do the same at ManU because of players like Bruno IMO
His final ball and finishing are top class though, I’ll give him that.
