I don't think it's cowardly since there's nothing so ethical as an action to match the judgement available. But I'd call it unimaginative.

Arsenal will lose every single season until we win one season. Right now we've got a pattern of twenty seasons of losing in the league. You can predict with plenty of assurance that if we were to win the league this season, the people insisting we'd bottle it would keep on right up till losing became impossible. So much for familiar patterns: we can guess some patterns will be there in some form, whether we're about to win the league or not.

It was a profoundly shit performance against Wolves that asked hard questions about where the goals will be coming from. But stepping back for a second and recalling we actually won the match, the intensified wailing and moaning is variably anomalous and uncalibrated, and sometimes it's embarrassing. Criticisms and concerns, sure ... but melting down about a win that kept us top of the table? That lacks perspective.

Gurgen The fans' anxiety does come through at the Emirates, and it is not a positive for the team. You understand the anxiety given all we've been through since the Invincibles, but it's not helpful.

-- the fans stuff is totally absurd, a fan having an internal view automatically stops a team or elite players performing they have no agency.. Of course there will be fans that think we are the best team always and will win the league but those ones can't affect the team for some reason.

The concern about arsenal is not just oh we lost last season so whatever happens we'll do it again. It's that the team is showing the exact same vulnerability as the previous unsuccessful seasons. The character against wolves was not a team that believes it can win and when it counts I don't trust that team to have enough in those moments. It was scared and playing to hang on that's not an elite team in my view and will get found out.

For all we've looked and city and said they aren't at it they are only 2 points off from us so what does that say about our team.

Wolves have two points all season. One. Two.

In 16 games.

Drawn 2. Lost 14. Conceded an average of two goals a game. By far the worst team in the league this season. Possibly the worst team in the entire history of the premier league. We are a third of the way through. At this rate, they could end the season with 6 six! points total.

That's the team we struggled badly against. At home.

And some are out here chiding the fans.

And you know that when push comes to shove they have Haaland to bail them out and singlehandedly win them games. As good and talismanic as Saka is, he's not that level. We need to get our act together, quickly, or this will end up as yet another wasted season.

It has to be said, I know we have great squad depth but we've had insane luck with injuries so far. We're 2 points ahead in spite of that which is incredible, we'd be fucked 2 seasons ago. The drop in quality from any starting 11 to their subs shouldn't be underestimated.

Jesus, I'm not watching it but that's the first free kick from Fernandes in about 50 attempts to actually go in, according to something I read a few weeks back. Bournemouth have really been letting United do it. Glad to hear scores are tied again.
