Probably a dumb question but not up to speed with the current rules. Playing tomorrow wouldn't make him cup tied in Europe would it? Assume it has to be the same competition if that's still even a thing.

invisibleman18 Yeah different competitions, so I don't reckon it's going to be an issue even if there is such a rule (Edit: apparently there's not).
Only issue is the small chance he might injure himself but if Palace insist on the deal being contingent on him helping them qualify first then there's probably not much we can do.
