Eze's positioning still has a 'big fish in a small pond' feel to it. The Crystal Palace influence remains in his thought processes and muscle memory. Moving from a small PL club to title contenders at 27yo is likely to be quite a whiplash when it comes to expectations and scrutiny.

I personally think Tzolis and Odegaard being productive this season will drive him on to up his game.

Mirth Fully agreed. This is the flip side of last season's "quantity over quality" trolley dash. While the depth was instrumental in us winning the league (phew!), a majority of those signings (Zubimendi TBD more dependent on his desire to stay in England and not because of his quality) need upgrading in the 24 months after they were signed (Madueke, Eze, VG14, Zubi TBD).

Bernard Woolley Zubi and Madueke as squad players are fine esp at their age. VG and EE may need to go next summer due to age/re-sale value.
