DiabyKungFu Spending a lot now means there is less to spend later. That's why you can't really get away from the question of the efficiency of the spending.
Glad someone else is saying as much. Granted our revenues have skyrocketed in the past couple of seasons, but we're about a billion pounds deep in the Project™. To me our squad's lopsided and we've got too many players who are best on the right. Sales are important and making the right signings at the right prices, and not just any signings, is crucial after a somewhat scattergun summer in 2025.
I have just browsed that numpty Hand of Arsenal's Twitter feed and all I can say is, he's a ratbag grifter feeding the impatience of our fans with a pile of sly faux-rational nonsense about this:
Villa have told us £130m for Morgan. If YOU believe that is way too much, make a FAIR offer and lets see how they react. Barcola is not any cheaper so just make your mind up.
Sure mate. "Just make your mind up" … that's how negotiation works is it? Wow, you're a real expert! Thanks for imparting this wisdom. I don't believe this parasite has Arsenal's best interests at heart, or more likely the account's been sold in time to use its influence for this sort of OOTK (out-of-the-know) whining.
