jones Exactly, just had a look and the fastest speed he ever reached was 38 km/h so it is a ridiculous tweet purely for views and clicks. From looking around his top speed is around 32-34 km/h which is ok but not rapid.
JazzG I don't even buy the 38km/h number for Mbappé, did some digging and can't find a source for it. Don't doubt he can hit that top speed or close to it in training or on tarmac but the PL record and Bundesliga record are both roughly 37.2 km/h, hard to see that topped by 1 full km/h even if Mbappé is insanely fast, you need a lot of green ahead of you to reach that speed.
