JazzG don't think even Mbappé ever clocked that top speed. Gyökeres is rapid but tweets like that only serve to make Arsenal fans look ridiculous.

jones Exactly, just had a look and the fastest speed he ever reached was 38 km/h so it is a ridiculous tweet purely for views and clicks. From looking around his top speed is around 32-34 km/h which is ok but not rapid.

JazzG I don't even buy the 38km/h number for Mbappé, did some digging and can't find a source for it. Don't doubt he can hit that top speed or close to it in training or on tarmac but the PL record and Bundesliga record are both roughly 37.2 km/h, hard to see that topped by 1 full km/h even if Mbappé is insanely fast, you need a lot of green ahead of you to reach that speed.

Henry supposedly was 38 km/h + in his prime, video claims 39.2! I remember this video below and you can see how insanely fast he was

JazzG yep and when you follow that claim for a French source only thing I found was a Hungarian dodgy link nothing from LFP.

I know that Henry clip very well, was the first clip I downloaded on my jail broken iPod back in the day lol. Henry will always be the greatest to me but I don't think he breaks 39.2 there either.
