Qwiss yes, I know headers are low percentage. Doesn't stop us from resorting to them when we are up against the low block and lumping in crosses for Merino and Havertz to chase after.
I don't think much of it in terms of for goalscoring. Thierry wasn't exactly renowned for his heading ability either. We started leaning into headers more after we brought in Giroud, and Arteta obviously is a huge fan of the long ball from the goal keeper when we are trying to bypass the press. If Gyokeres was decent at it his stats would reflect that. Instead they show he is quite poor at even contesting for aerial balls talk less of winning them. That's a win for opposing teams every time. Think Newcastle. They just turn on their high press and if /when we lump it forward, they will almost always get the ball back.
