Sicario2 Yet in the games against Liverpool, City and Man Utd I'd bet my left nut he would have made a much bigger impact than Gyokeres.

Gyokeres has had an ok start for us but seen nothing to suggest in the big games he'd make a bigger impact than Havertz and I think that will be more clear by the end of the season.

Gyokeres needs to make sure he becomes a flat track bully because I don't think he has it in him for the big games, I hope he proves me wrong but I'm not so sure he will. The players are getting more used to him and he's done alright recently but needs to start scoring.

Im not worried. He'll be both a flat track bully and a big game player for us. As you said the team is just getting used to him and you can already see what he does for the attack. He's only been here 5 mins. Let's chill out and see whag he does after 6 months under his belt here.

Too early to be making any assessments on whether he will be a big game player or not. The team is still in flux and the three big games he’s had, two were with the Merino experiment, and the other was Newcastle where he did well. We got much more from Gyokeres in the Newcastle game without a goal than City would in any game where Haaland doesn’t score.

Tam it’s not just his time here. In Portugal he traditionally scored v the smaller teams. Granted he did get a hattrick v Man City in the CL but two were pens.

Seems likely he'll score against the Hammers. I'm really happy with how he's going. For me this signing is doing what it said on the tin. Affordable too.

Odegaard’s the only one that slips Gyokeres through the middle. Otherwise he’s just scrapping for the ball in the channels.

That said, on the ball Gyokeres is a bit average.

He's a center forward who can cut it at premier league level I guess. He hasn't shown anything to make me think hey this guy is (going to be) special. 15 goals might be his upper limit.
