Yeah I couldn't see a 4-4-2 working either. That would mean most likely Rice sits to give us the balance needed. And Rice can't sit. Neither can Odegaard or Zubimendi.

We'll likely only see them both playing together in late game scenarios when we are goal seeking from say the 70th or greater minute.

Anyway, I was watching his body language on the bench and there was one moment in the 2nd half where Kai fluffed his legs from a good position and he threw up his hands like "whaaaat how the hell?"

He spoke a lot to Timber beside him, not much to Gabi. After the final whistle spent awhile chatting with Dan Burn (so random?!) and then with Ben White.

1) I want Isak to go to Liverpool, and I want a rivalry started ala Henry v Nistelrooy, where they hate each other, and push each other. Something tells me Gyokeres comes out on top.

2) Need him on penalty duty. Hope Saka is willing to give it up. Also very curious to see how our game in general evolves to accommodate him.

3) I love the hat trick hero vs last minute winner answer. There’s many Reiss Nelson’s, luck, right place right time are factors. Hattricks are harder to come by, and speak to prolificity and proficiency.

that's not gonna happen, they both play for Sweden, and Isak doesn't look like he's able to hate anything other than a burnt kebab.

That'd be great. I'd probably bet on them being like Nistelrooy vs Henry in that Isak won't need to score as many goals as Gyokeres to be the better player.

This is true, but irony is it's Gyökeres' "mark the fuck out of me or I'll score" attitude that's going to give Saka the greater freedom on which he'll thrive. Can't wait.
