We need to be ruthless and move him on this summer even if it happens at a loss. Him and Madueke have to go. If we want to compete with City, we need to be able to move on from our big money flops quickly.

Move these two along, shift Jesus and one of Trossard/Martinelli, and replace them with a killer ST and LW. Next season I'd like for our forward line to look something like this:

ST : New starting ST / Havertz
LW: New starting quality LW / Trossard or Martinelli
RW ; Saka / Dowman / Nwaneri

AM : Eze / Ode / Nwaneri

Holding onto both Gyokeres and Madueke is going to be too much of a burden and we need to just get rid.

HesHe's also remained fit while everyone else fell apart and scored 18 goals. We should sign another striker who's hopefully better but keep Vik as the alternate.

In hindsight given that Kai got reinjured early in the season Sesko would've been a disastrous signing.
Ekitike remains the clear miss.

We need to discover the new RVP (who was basically the best of Kai and best of Gyo combined).

Ekitike looked great at the start of the season but the slog of having to play all the time while Isak was injured took its toll. He probably was the best of the potential striker signings from last summer but I doubt we'd have seen any more upside overall if we had signed him. And I don't think he'd have been allowed to play his natural game under Arteta either.

Sicario2 I've seen very little of him apart from highlights here or there, his stats aren't terrible but they aren't that good either. Definitely has something about him but some parts of his game are raw. Has elite physical qualities though, great leap and good at holding up.

Qwiss Yeah he has of all the strikers looked the one who might become really good but he has had his struggles like you say. Doesn't help that the team has fallen apart as well

Pool got rid of Diaz, kept a washed Salah and then got two high quality strikers who promptly got injured. This transfer game could drive a DoF to madness

Also, noticeable how literally nothing happened once Jesus replaced him.
