Lukazan Was just thinking about Williams. Aside from that early chance he has stopped dead every time he's run into Timber who's just back from surgery. Can't make too much out of a preseason game but this is what he looked like most of the time when I watched him last season too. Very little bang for the bucks with that lad. Winger with the productivity of a fullback.

Lukazan Williams plays in an inferior team to us though. Look at him when he puts on his Spanish jersey, looks a different player with better players. Has Mart ever dominated a tournament like Williams did at Euro 2024?

Can't watch the second half but I hope we continue with the same team. The attacking players need every minute they can get to gel. Signs are promising though! The combination play down the left was exactly what I was hoping for beforehand. That's how you involve Gyökeres more in the game and it's how you get the best out of Marty McFly.

So much better and if we keep this up, the energy going into day 1 is going to be immense. Can't believe so many people don't think building this momentum is important. Pre-season or not, winning and playing well is a habit.

We still have issues going forward but today has been better. Martinelli and Odegaard both still an issue though.
