HomeSteak can sign whoever you want, won't help much if the general approach doesn't change. Hope I'm wrong but can totally see Gyokeres struggling as we ponderously move the ball around the way we do.

If the grand plan is to dominate the ball while camped in the opposition's half for 90 minutes then you need the elite of the elite in terms of technicians. We have Rice, Havertz and Martinelli in key roles for fuck's sake.

lets see how this season starts but I've been increasingly thinking that this drab football will continue as long as we have Rice at 8... maybe having Zubi and Ode on the field at the same time will help..

Doc Yeah we should have signed an attacking 8 instead of Norgaard so Rice could cover 6/8 and attacking 8 could cover 8/10 anyway hopefully we get Eze and he can be that player.

Not watching, but very worrying feedback with the same old boring controlball struggle to score tactics.

The players are plenty good enough so the manager really needs to figure it out. Might be checking out earlier than usual this season...
