He's definitely above mere "back up" level, which is very good for us. Saliba and Gabriel have been over played in the past few seasons and it's beginning to show, especially with the distances they are expected to cover considering how high our press usually is. Saliba in particular is prone to lapses in concentration when exhaustion begins to set in, so having this young man available and of the required quality to adequately cover for him is a real relief and an excellent piece of business at the price we got him for too!
