Happy with this. Young with potential and replaces Tomi. Also should allow us to manage Timber and White without either of them having to fill in at CB.

Also should settle well considering the Spanish contingent we now have.

Welcome. Not seen anything of him so hope he's good. Would be a concern if those reports the other day of him failing the medical that Califiori and Tomiyasu got through were true but that was probably nonsense. Hopefully better than Holding if called on for a title run in.

Think he had a year left. It's getting to the end of the window and he can sign for us for free in 6 months and Valencia can't afford to lose him for free.

I think it's just a very uneven negotiation.

Smack bang at the low end of the "Saliba" category. He looks capable of sitting on our bench already, and in a few years we can flip him if he doesn't break into our XI.

Qwiss Would have thought so, but then again even Tomiyasu and Califiori got through. There was some report the other day of a delay to the signing due to a failed medical but it was probably just bollocks.

Cala had destroyed his knee. The medical isn't pass fail it's a risk assessment. And he'd have been put in the high risk category. It's still up to the higher ups what they do with that info.

I wonder if he's Kiwior's direct replacement. Should be careful to make too much of preseason matches but he certainly looks ready, and too good to be 4th choice for very long.

Hmm hard to tell. Arteta spoke about increasing the size of the squad or useable/available pool of players. Mosquera may be Tomiyasu’s replacement

I see him as Tomi replacement too but it may be that if they think Kiwior will slip down the pecking order it could be time to cash in especially if Zinchenko is hanging around. If Calafiori wasn't so unreliable I could definitely see Kiwior being sold.

Well in theory for left back we could have MLS, Calafiori and Timber, with right back options being Timber, White and Mosquera should we sell Kiwior.

Having said that our centreback options become thin if Kiwior goes. I’d imagine Jacquet will arrive in the event of a Kiwior departure.

I think because Mosquera can play both sides we'd be ok with Gabriel, Saliba, Mosquera with Cala, White, Timber also able to play there only issue is their fitness which makes Kiwior a bit of a security blanket. TBH we could probably play Norgaard CB too as Zubi is undroppable already in Arteta's mind I'm sure.
