Is anyone surprised that Arteta preferred a far more athletic player (Madueke) to a player (Nwaneri) with below average athletic traits?
It’s pretty clear to me that Arteta priorises athleticism and is more than happy to diminish the role of less athletic players like Nwaneri, MLS (compared to Cala/Hini), etc. I would also imagine it’s part of the reason Odegaard looks so slight now, he’s been pushed to the max to improve his stamina and in turn he’s reasoned.
