Yeah, we all know we need a striker and another wide forward. But we also have our first and second choice striker out with injury. If either Kai or Jesus were healthy, this could be very different. Even with that, we're really outplaying them overall, and fuckin Donnarumma has been lights out.

It's disappointing that under Arteta the one thing you can count on is we will blow the big moments. He's lacking something as a manager to get a team to win the big trophies. The failings with scoring are all on him and his poor squad building, he talked after Bayern that we needed a goal scorer that was the difference in these moments and then did nothing about it.

Passes from midfield aren't coming quick enough. Odegaard and Rice both indecisive on the ball when good passes are on. It's allowing them to get set with men behind the ball.

There’s a moment when we were attacking where Martinelli opted for a corner rather than get on the ball and do something more positive. This team don’t back themselves in open play

Mirth that’s Martinelli for you. Hardly ever does he “grow” into a game. First 10 minutes if the defender is able to stand up to his probing, and win the duels a couple of times, he becomes a passenger.

Odegaard has been so disappointing. If anyone is supposed to be critical in these games, it’s him. He acts like his job is solely to facilitate for others. And even that he’s not doing as well as he should. I’m almost at breaking point with him as well.

Mirth sadly, watching this game, I can't help but feel Martinelli is a prime example of a player who doesn't have enough ideas in his locker. When you compare him to front three of PSG, there's no comparison in terms of technical ability in the final third.

flobaba I don't know if your suggesting there is no-one we could sign but if so I don't believe that is true and we signed Cal and Merino in the summer which were clearly prioritised by him and they haven't improved us for be.

flobaba stop man. we're 5 years and 500m in and look at the state of our forwards. and yes, he was virtually given top down input on transfers, so the buck does largely sit with him eg. havertz wasn't edus idea. that was entirely mikels Jupiter brain in action
