USArsenal I think Villa showed us what PSG are. I don't understand how people are calling them the best team in the competition just because they got a win over a tired Liverpool and then limped past Villa. Arsenal and Barcelona have been consistently excellent from start to finish. Both in the top 3 of the league stage, PSG were 15th. Overrated team, I'll be extremely disappointed if we lose to them.

Coombs Partey has been one of our best players this season and was immense in the first leg. We will badly miss him in the first leg of the semi. He’s basically become the most underrated player in the entire squad now.

Agreed, he really has fallen off this season and it isn’t good enough. Yesterday Saliba, Rice and Saka all stepped up and were leaders on the pitch for us. Odegaard got better in the second half but we needed more from him on the ball.

RocktheCasbah Indeed spot on😁 what a result and a great statement to beat Madrid in that fashion. When we missed the pen there was a brief moment it felt like it could be a turning point but other then that we were pretty flawless in the first half. The players from Madrid that you would have worried about just didn't have anything. Great goals from Saka and Martinelli and we didn't really look in trouble. Only frustration was that silly Partey booking such an annoying one because we don't really have a replacement. Also thought Ode was still pretty poor which remains a worry to me.

A great moment for the club and Arteta to take this step reach our second European cup final and to take the scalp off Madrid hopefully that can propel the club forwards.

Was very lucky to get to experience it in the stadium the atmosphere was great the whole time and the Gabi song (new one to me) was getting an airing on .repeat. At the airport now after 3 hours sleep but definitely worth it. Funny how Madrid have never beaten us as well😂

Sicario2 he’s a dope who slows down the game. Badly exposed when the game gets fast and technical at the very highest level. There was a point in the second half where he got the ball on the edge of our box without even any pressure and he took two fucking seconds to look around him and an extra two seconds to move it on. Sicario2 This game you’d hope would give us that confidence, sometimes this club gets imposter syndrome when we play in this tournament but yesterday felt like we put out a statement. We were there to not just nick a victory but to let people know we are better than Real Madrid.

Despite all the media talk of a comeback we went in and controlled the game and both ties were played on our terms. This surely has to give us confidence we need to go and keep performing at this level.

Claudius Yep, on the contrary he calms our play down. Makes himself available and relieves the pressure with those little passes. Has the strength to hold off press and occasionally dribble past a few challenges and release Ode or Rice or our forwards. Tracked the play defensively really well and covered into the box when they put in crosses. Had some lovely blocks as well. And some key interceptions.

Guy has been in boss form lately. Such a shame he won't be available for the first game next round. We will miss him, despite what people who hate him for his off-the-pitch baggage are trying to convince themselves of.

Sicario2 None of those teams worry me, I think we are better than every team you list there. My biggest worry is about us, do we really believe in ourselves? I mentioned imposter syndrome earlier, that is something this club had even under Wenger. We'd blow away teams in the PL and then freeze in Europe. The performances against Real Madrid should give these players and this club the belief we belong here and are out to win it.
