Just finished the game.
MLS motm.
Saka stupid, but brilliant.
Saliba stupid, but brilliant.
Odegaard fantastic until he actually got on the ball, then he was honestly quite shocking. His off the ball work and movement is so important, but he's simply got to get back on form in possession.
Martinelli is a dynamo, a machine, a relentless force of nature.
Partey is not what his apologists say he is. Needs to be upgraded.
Kiwior excellent.
Raya excellent.
Timber locks shit down. New Lauren?
Rice is doing the work of two and a half men. Unbelievable player, especially when his starting position is appropriate (i.e., deep).
Overall, Arteta set it up brilliantly, and gave us the platform to do what was necessary in a difficult and hostile environment. The team's execution was sloppy, but we won.
Bukayo and Gabi at the Bernabeu. What could be better?
Legendary moment for these players, this coach, and this club.
