Benzema has been great when he's played. It's also pretty tough to maintain such a level when you're in and out the side. I'd say he's matched Falcao. He's also a better player.

I can't see Benzema staying if they sign Agüero. Then again I can't really see them signing Agüero either.

If they sign Aguero, Benzema would be a fool to stay. He could come here and potentially become a superstar, instead of being treated like he doesn't belong at Real. Why can't he be like all the other French players his age and have Theirry henry as his bloody idol?

Absolutely no evidence there whatsoever of course. The other thing they claim is that Maxwell is Barcelona's preferred makeweight in a Cesc deal. I'd sort of hate it if Maxwell came here, not a great option for us, too much of a lightweight.

Signing Benzema after Fabregas and Nasri both left stinks of closing the gate after the horse has bolted.

I'd accept Benzema coming in to replace Fabregas and Nasri staying. Not ideal, but have to operate within the reality that we are a selling club
Obviously, would also be good to at least address CD and LB
