I'd take Rogers even if it meant we lose out on Rodrygo, I like Rodrygo but not sure how he fits in with. Rogers however gives us that physical carrying power we lack up top.

Not much to suggest Villa would even entertain selling him but he'd be one of my top options to improve the attack. Can play across the frontline, PL ready proven, home grown and PnP. Ticks a lot of boxes.

Burnwinter we’re going to get both Gyokeres and Sesko in the same room on deadline day. Contracts in front of them. Berta holding only one pen will hand it to one of the players for them to sign seconds before the deadline is reached.

Which player Berta hands the pen to will be determined by a Mikel Arteta fart. The pitch of that fart being the decisive factor

That's because that fart you mention was in fact recorded months ago, at the very second Havertz's hamstring snapped last season. Only later did Josh Kroenke retain the services of a flatulomancer to determine the agenda for this window, which this esoteric specialist then directed Kroenke to keep a secret from both the manager and the incoming technical director in order to preserve its potency.

Sicario2 I'm very, very bored, although one thing the mechanics of the transfer window have in common with the US and Israeli assault on Iran's made-up nuclear weapons is shadowy institutional figures sending hacks out to draft headlines that frame a narrative with a bare minimum competence.

Zubi, Kepa, Gyokeres, one of Rodrygo/Nico/Rogers... along with some depth signings (maybe another defender like Hato, and possible another forward that can play across the front like [gulp] Rashford on loan) and potentially another CM to take Partey's spot if he's going...

If we sign all of these players, would we be 100% satisfied with this window? If we somehow manage to pull off most of this, i think it would be probably our best window in recent history (or ever?) .
