Fresh links to Mbuemo today. I love him as a player. Wouldn’t want him as our CF signing and don’t think he’d be our LW so I’m hopeful we have him targeted as a third forward signing along with a CF and LW. He could then fill the Jesus/Trossard versatile forward role like Jota did for Liverpool and Alvarez did for City. Gyokeres, Williams and Mbuemo would be a 10/10 summer for me (along with Zubimendi).

Qwiss they should move him. They have 3 of the best left forwards in the world. They need a Sesko and a right forward. And an AM.

Claudius he's doing well enough for them on the right. Unless Alonso moves him on I don't think he'll look to move.

Sesko wouldn't get a look in there with their other options.

Cannot see why we'd be in for Mbuemo when we have Saka and Nwaneri. Great player but not a good use of funds at all.

Pepe LeFrits Nwaneri moves to attacking mid full time which is probably where his long term future lies. I don’t think this happens unless Trossard is also sold so his renewal would dictate this. Personally I think we need to move on from Leo.

I’m not saying it’s going to happen but a forward rotation of Williams/Martinelli, Havertz/Gyokeres, and Saka/Mbuemo can compete for both the PL and UCL title simultaneously with Nwaneri providing needed cover/competition for Odegaard.

samthegooner unless he's surprisingly good on the left it still feels wasteful. He's not going to get enough minutes at RW to justify the outlay unless Saka gets injured

Of course I’d rather bring in a versatile technical midfielder who could also play on the wings in a pinch like Eze, Gibbs-White or Kudus but I just don’t think that’s the direction we are going unfortunately. Gyokeres, Williams/Rodrygo and Eze along with Zubimendi and a GK would be ideal to me.

Stay well away from Isak and his exorbitant pricing. Too many injuries , also you have to add injury tax when players move to Arsenal so not worth the risk.

samthegooner I don't know how Martinelli has performed but I'd start with Gyökeres and just see what happens in preseason. The way he works the wings improves the wide players too.

he said a few interesting things in the gyokeres thread on there

gyokeres is the best sporting player he's ever seen, and he's followed the club since the days of figo.
according to the ITKs on the sporting forum he's on, we are well advanced with gyokeres. local papers have corroborated that with reporting of how active berta has been in talks with the sporting hierarchy

Klaus If Gyökeres goes to United, he was always an embarrassment and we shouldn't have wanted him. If there's a British Sporting CP connection that would make more sense, that'd be Viana at City rather than Amorim at United. But Haaland's at City, meaning that unless the robot's off to Spain our real competition for Gyökeres would be more likely to be Liverpool. I've not heard anything in that regard just yet … so perhaps there is a sliver of hope.

Claudius Currently leading the European golden boot race ahead of Salah and Mbappe too, while playing in a league that has 4 games less in a season, where his goals are worth 1.5 points instead of 2.

I keep telling you guys: you have no idea how good this player really is. If he actually signs you're gonna have to go and find some Sporting fans who can explain it to you.
