I think we can get away with players below that high percentile as long as they have standout skill sets that fill a gap in our current team. For example, I don't think Gyokeres is in the 95/98 percentile but he is a bagman, knows where the goal is, and has the personality that none of our other players have in terms of being solely focused on scoring goals. We need someone like that. Same with guys like Eze, Gittens and Williams - are they 95/98 percentile? Probably not but they are capable of moments of magic when attacking defenders 1v1 and in space, and we don't have a lot of that other than Saka. Gittens and Williams also have game breaking pace in transition that could help to pull defenses apart when having to account for that speed.
I want us adding players that give us additional ways to attack defenses - whether that be another technical midfielder, a tricky winger, or a number 9 that may not be incredibly well rounded but makes runs behind the defense and looks to score whenever he can. Give Arteta more chess pieces and let him mix and match depending on the tactics and availability. That needs to be our emphasis this summer and I'm relatively confident we will at least add a few.
