Sicario2 the pressure is very much on to win this season.
We'll see. My personal feeling is that we won't sign the players we need, there will be injuries and a general bluntness to the team—exacerbated by midfielders trying to perform the duties of strikers—and towards the end of next season the conclusion will be that "under the circumstances" (bad luck, referees, the right players weren't available in the market, etc) the results were better than they should have been. I don't know if it's the board or Arteta, but the outcome is the same. Someone at the club has figured out that it's so much easier to overperform when expectations are lowered.
If forwards were a priority this window they would have been signed by now, or thereabouts, and whatever was left would have been spent on utility men like Hato and Nørgaard. We haven't even tabled a bid for either Gyökeres or Sesko yet, which tells me we have doubts over both of them. How do you get into that position after years of scouting and analysis?
