As long as we can bring in both Eze and Madueke at the least, I'm okay with it. Some of the reaction online in public posts on social media from our "fans" is downright embarrassing. I'm hesitant on the move myself but the people that are abusing him on social media already are a new level of degenerate.
I also agree with lorddulaarsenal - he's definitely a good player and would bring much needed ball carrying, speed and directness to our squad. As a replacement for Sterling, it's a great signing. It's just the timing of the signing that irks me but I am going to take a step back and let Berta/Arteta work and save my outrage for September 1st if we have only brought him in as an attacking reinforcement in addition to striker.
I would still be quite happy if we end the summer with Gyokeres, Eze and Madueke. I also have a hard time believing that we would turn down signing Rodrygo if he became available given all of the noise from reputable sources that are linking us to him and vice versa should he leave Madrid.
