awooga83 Young players have this, the second season is always hard once you've been seen you have to adapt and it's harder to continue to do the same.

For what it's worth, I don't think he actually looks any different to how he looked last season. I think people just underrated the amount of defensive hand-holding that Martinelli did for him last season.

if it was positioning mistakes and getting caught on the ball, etc. it would be one thing, but he doesn't look physically up to it. he looks like he's running in sand.

awooga83 Yeah, I'd hardly say this is the end of the world, but it's clear there's a drop-off this season, he doesn't look right, I think you have to acknowledge that. And you could understand if he's feeling frustrated, just hope it doesn't get to be too much.

If Hincapie is out play MLS in these cup games and try to get his rhythm back before we might need him in the league. He's not been as bad as people are making out but he has had a couple of fairly egregious mistakes. Just needs to get his confidence back.

Some players need to be playing every week to find rhythm, last season he was playing every game whereas now that is not the case.

I suspect he may be having issues adjusting to changes in his body. He's at an age where your musculature and weight distribution can change a lot.

Bar is lower for him lately but he looked good in the second half. He looked a bit more like MLS of last season by the end

Still moving lile an oil tanker, and that's coming from someone who loves the guy. Whatever has happened to make him so slow, he needs to somehow reverse. Kind of looks like he's carrying weight, and unlike Dula, I've not been one to criticise players weight usually.

Thought this was an okay performance.

Miles must make the most of minimal moments, or as I prefer to compress this observation: MMMMMM.

The failure to keep that attempted cutback at the end away from the keeper was a good example. If Skelly sets up a goal there we're all singing his praises, but those occasions have been fewer and further between this season.

Lived the moment someone tried to leave a shoulder on him then was rolling around the ground a split second later.

I wonder if Nwaneri’s departure will have an effect. Perhaps kick start something mentally in him, though it’s bit obvious what the issue he needs to resolve is.

yeah he needs to chill because that bulk is slowing him down.

Meatwad if he's being groomed for a role in midfield, he probably needs to bulk up a bit more.
