Must get back to winning ways, with or without Saka

Time to get on a winning run and build some momentum after a poor period.

I certainly don't look at their line up and see players that concern me. But fair credit to them as they've had a strong start to the season. They'll view this as a critical game between the current standings and after coming up short vs Newcastle.

Win our next 2 and things should look rosier with City playing Liverpool next weekend

      Agreed.. And i think Calafiori will be fit for the game, so he should start with Timber on the right. Partey/Rice/Odegaard in the middle, and Saka/Kai/Martinelli up front (with the reports that Saka is a doubt, maybe throw Jesus on in place of Saka if necessary). Im pretty sure that would be our starting XI even if everyone were fit. The only question is Merino, but he's not fully bedded in yet, so i think he starts on the bench for now.

      Its time to put Temu Man City in their place. We have to win this and hopefully we can win it well.

      Big game for the team today we pretty much have to win every game in the next set of league figures if we don't I think that's probably the end of any pretence of the title. I feel like forest can be difficult team for us based on how they've started so a good test to see how serious we are.

      WTF.. Partey and Rice on the bench, and Jorginho & Merino starting with Odegaard? Um..... ok... and Jesus in place of Martinelli.. and Trossard in place of Kai..

        Yes, but we have been in pretty poor form before the international break. I think getting back to winning ways is a necessity, and this probably isn't the game i would rotate. But I guess we'll see. Lets hope they surprise us. I do think Odegaard being back helps us immediately either way.

          Yeah, not changing 2/3rds of your midfield and 2/3rds of your attack at the same time that the only starters are struggling with fitness Saka and a just returning from injury Odegaard.

          Normally though I don't mind a midfield of Jorginho/Merino/Rice. Its more balanced than what we've put out last few weeks aside from Partey/Rice/Odegaard.
