Martinelli's confidence is in the dumps. His tentativeness in how to tried to take his chance was telling. He never hides but it is just not happening for him when it counts.
We are still too slow in our build up and play without much intuition going forward.
Bigger concern for me though is that our defence doesn't look like the best defence in the league which it should be. We need to quickly raise our level on one end of the pitch to League best and the other end will automatically show improvement.
I was hoping we signed him in the summer, but his injury record and g/a contributions aren't comforting. Better than Sterling, though.
Tactics I can see Trossard ghosting into space to score, but yeah I'd like to see Nwaneri's general play and give us central impetus.
