So we come into this having got through a tough spate of away games, with a nice little League Cup home win under our belts. Trossard is available, and the rest of the team news will come down to injuries. If Raya's thigh is still tender then Neto should get his first Arsenal game. There are a few niggles throughout the squad, especially at the back. And has Nwanieri done enough to earn another start? There are probably half a dozen different line ups that could ocur depending on injury.

No way Nwaneri starts, that's why he played the full 90. An appearance off the bench might be possible if we're in a comfortable position though.

Pepe LeFrits yeah, heard Andrew Allen on Arseblog mention he was really struggling in terms of stamina towards the end of the match. Sounds like he's not ready to start in the PL.

I’m sure you guys all saw one thing with our game. We were a million miles better than Bolton in on every dimension. Our guys were faster, stronger, more skillful. Bukayo looked half awake and nobody could keep up with him. So equally, as skilled as he is, Nwaneri must be shocked by the physical level of our first team. And will naturally take some time to adjust.

I still have nightmares of Leicester beating us at home when there were no fans in the Covid season, think Vardy killed us and scored on the break. Anyone else remember that game?

I want to batter them just for that.

Sicario2 - Tier 1 yeah, we had an early goal ruled out for no good reason didn't we? Felt like we spent a literal month of Sunday evenings losing at home to teams from the Midlands. 😵‍💫

Since Timber is fit and training, I'd like to see White get another rest since he wasn't able to for the full City game. Even if it's a minor knee thing, he hasn't gotten a rest for the last two league seasons and I'd like to see Timber get another run out at RB. Want to see Calafiori at LB again and likely Trossard instead of Nwaneri but hope Ethan can get ₃₀ minutes in the second half. A little worried how we will look without Raya since he's had to really step up at times in the first few games but I don't think Leicester crosses the ball a lot so as long as Neto can be tidy with the ball, we should be good.
