Panda It was a bad result and I guess in theory a more gung-ho approach might have prospered, but I'm not yet feverish enough to condemn us for not managing to win a match with ten men.
On other days waiting the opposition out a bit and either nicking a set piece goal or making adventurous subs with half an hour to go has worked for us. Generally play is more broken up and inviting for opportunistic forwards towards the ends of matches, and we lack creativity and incision in the senior ranks with our present injury list.
As others have pointed out, this was our first league loss in 2024 or whatever, so we do need an ounce of perspective about whether we know how to prepare for matches and secure points in the league.
