But I’ve long felt he’d be a great fit for our team. He’s the type of 8 you want across from Odegaard in that he doesn’t “need” the ball. Instead, he’d put in a shift comparable (albeit lower) than Rice, and he would create far more than Rice.
Further, that £70m saved in comparison to signing Rice could have easily brought in another attacker.
