TambourineMan we can’t think in terms of squaddies. We need different faces now. Arteta and Edu have built a strong core of starters. What we need is the ability to swap people in and out so we can start and finish strongly, or rotate game to game and still be the better team.
If you go out and get an injury prone player, you disrupt that. We already have to manage Partey, Jesus, Tomi. This kind of number is not abnormal, if you see the important players like James and Lavia at Chelsea or The Butcher, Shaw, Lindelof at United. But you don’t go adding to your problems.
