Behind a paywall I haven't figured out how to circumvent, but the "strength of schedule" table right before the cut is worth a look.
Even though we've dropped points we're not too far off where you might expect, our main problem is that Liverpool have raked in a bag of about 6 points they never should've had. As we've all been saying, if we press on then over the full season, the gap to the top should close—the question is whether it'll be by enough.
I think it's going to take both consistency and luck and sadly that makes it hard to back us in.
