Claudius this is why I find it hard to make comparisons across clubs on anything but what we can clearly see, which are the players fit and in the squad.
The main difference seems to be how much we are able to excuse the various parties at different levels of the club. For me, the director and execs are not pulling their weight relative to the coaching and playing staff, and the buck stops with Stan on that front. Arteta and the squad are probably performing above any reasonable expectations given the context, which is a relative lack of support on the recruitment side.
Whether or not deals are complicated or difficult, so is competing at the top of the PL and CL. Core members of the squad are running themselves into long term injury, and I am genuinely angry on their behalf. They deserve better.
