Had a feeling Marseille pulling out was a blessing. There was no way there wouldn’t be 2-3 English clubs in for Eddie who’d be far more likely to meet our demands.

Little surprised he wanted to go to France over staying in the PL.

wolves: if you pay £15m and cover 90% of ramsdale's wages, we'd consider taking him on loan this season, but then you pay us another £5m at the end of the season if we decide not to buy him. let us know what you think of our offer

That word "majority" covers a lot of money one way or the other. Let's hope it's 90%, not 55%.

Burnsy made a post a few days ago about PSR covering total player spending including agents fees. Hopefully the money all clubs spend on those leeches gets cut by a lot.

mdgoonah41 If you head up to the start of the Raya thread you'll find plenty of us predicting we'd end up in this boat with Ramsdale. It's worse for keepers because it's hard to demand a high fee for a guy who will certainly be permabenched except in the case of injuries and suspensions, and its worse still because we renewed Ramsdale on fairly high wages.

goon possible CL football next year, better chance to win things, etc

Qwiss he could have played for De Zerbi and live somewhere on the coast, near Marseille and now he has to turn up for Nottingham and the "beautiful" football that Nuno serves up. Poor guy

          Omari Hutchinson - £4M - sell on
          Mark McGuinness - £2M - sell on
          Biereth - £4M
          Brooke Norton-Cuffy- £2M
          Tavares - Obligation £8M
          ESR - £34M
          Nketiah - £25-30M

Getting the money in, thats around 84 mil, depending on what the Nketiah deal ends up. Now Nelson and Ramsdale...

HomeSteak Getting the money in, thats around 84 mil

            £42m for Calafiori
            £27m for Raya
            £35m? for Merino

Are we really going for a close to break even summer?

              Qwiss

Those can be spread over 4-5 years though, all the sales are pretty much pure profit.

lorddulaarsenal disappointing up-front fee but hopefully the 'significant' sell-on fee is in our favour.

Probably notable that no one better than Deportivo have come in for him...

lorddulaarsenal I really think there could be some kind of deadline day madness coming. This all seems too quiet compared to the last couple of years.

Really hard to see Nico as the madness when his team has been hyping him (new number, videos, etc) all preseason.

They’d look foolish if they now let him leave, and more importantly I think it would lead to a jaded team.

Qwiss Can't think of whoever. Unless its Osimhen
