goon The inferiority complex is crazy.
Not quite sure on the vibe in here after a few hours' sleep. Despite a huge bout of the colliwobbles we drew 2–2 with Bayern and had our chances. We controlled the play more and created more, we looked more like winning it as it began, then looked more like winning it after the half.
There's no glaring deficiency to be found in tactics or talent on our side for the two goals we conceded, both required 3–4 problematic "actions" (as Arteta would call it) from us and a dose of brilliant opportunism from Bayern. There were a couple of other similar incidents.
We are a bit short on brilliance in the final third with Saka injured, Martinelli a bit quiet, Havertz not quite at the level required and so on, but we've got options as Jesus and Trossard showed.
Iron out the creases in our collective mentality and you can see how we win the second leg. As for Bayern they'll be flying home knowing they got a bit lucky even if they don't admit it.
