CPM Kiwior will be playing LB, no? His spell these past couple months is better than Tomiyasu has ever looked here.
I'd hope so. On form he deserves to keep his place. However I don't even think it's a case of Kiwior or Tomi rather than it being a case of Zinchenko starting if he's fit enough. I was kind of worried about his return as I feared he'd walk straight back into the starting lineup as first choice despite our form the last few months with a more solid and predictable left back in the back line.
Midweek I could have forgiven for a weakened team to rest players, but against Brighton who are quick to break and pass out from the back I thought he'd sit back on the bench for Kiwi. Unfortunately not. Luckily it didn't cost us in the end but thought he was as usual pretty shaky in defence and back to his super casual almost overconfident self by dribbling when he shouldn't and playing dangerous square balls in the midfield that were intercepted ona couple occassions.
Don't get me wrong, I loved him for what he brought to the team last season, but we've outgrown him. He's positionally indisciplined (even accounting for his inverting role he ends up on the right side of the pitch), and too emotional to be a key figure in the team.
