Burnwinter Ten Hag seizes the opportunity to vibrate between the poles of orthodox and paradox, rather than clinging to one or the other. So the football played by his United is a beautiful resonant music, but only if you've got the ears to hear. To those who lack the necessary organs, only a murky fractal noise is heard: but this is a cacophony which resolves in the instant to a trumpet call of infinite victory.
Erik ten Hag Appreciation Thread

“We are one of the most dynamic and entertaining teams in the league at this moment. We are creating loads of chances by playing good football. It was unnecessary to lose control. We repaired this at half-time and the second half was much better.”
“The great Manchester United team, we forget they were also built. I have seen I think in 2004-05 they also didn’t play that great football. They were building, and it takes time.”
It is clear and it is obvious. This is underperforming.
We are all tested in life. As Erik encodes for the faithful, there was no problem with his work preparing United to face the Eagles. The result amounted to a cosmic error which omniscient God, that most unreliable and underperforming video assistant referee, cruelly failed to overturn.
Let’s take a break from appreciating ETH, and rather savor the same things he would..
He's so good. Don't leave us, Erik.
Burnwinter did Vinai reject his advances?
Haha loving this guy for banter even more, was happy with today's result because he believed they gave us a hell of game despite losing

ten hag is ten hag in. I am as well.
What did he say after today?
1-0 is good for us. Hopefully, he's back on the sideline next year. Love this gaffer
HomeSteak What did he say after today?
I don't know, but the commentary team said he barked "I hope you win the league" loudly at Arteta on the touchline.
That's the mystery of ten Hag. When the final whistle blows the mind games are only beginning. Did he only let you win?
When the final whistle blows the mind games are only beginning.
That's brilliant.
JazzG my favourite thing is the way he tries to confide in Jesus, who in turn tries to disassociate himself from Anthony.
Don Pacifico He's probably telling him, he can't be seen talking to him in public.
Antony supposedly has his own personal photographer who goes to every game just to take pictures of him. He was the guy who gave him the sonic teddy bear in the last game. I remember when he scored against us and his cocky celebration, I had a feeling then this guy was all talk and didn't have anything to back it up.
We rightly get slated for Pepe signing but this guy cost as much and has been FAR worse then Pepe.
I wonder if that is just based on insider info or just his experiences as a player? He added it was partly down to the FA cup and Euros coming up and players not wanting to get injured. You speak to most players and throughout their career they've played through pain and injuries, they see it as part and parcel of being a footballer whereas I wonder if fans have the impression that players are always completely fit with nothing wrong.
Remember Daniel Sturridge being a player who supposedly could never play with injuries much to the frustration of many at Liverpool. Any little thing and they felt he'd pull out of the game. I remember even reading they thought it might be something mental. Remember Holding talking about White playing with a serious Hamstring injury against Newcastle away a couple years back because we were short.
Qwiss yeah, there was a game in Auxerre he played with injections and was absolutely unbeatable - of course Wrighty came up with a worldie up the other end and we won the day.
The boos
What makes it funnier is it’s while he’s praising them for their backing
Every time I see this I think it can’t be real:
goon all I can say about this guy is it's a good thing he wasn't managing us at Old Trafford for the 50th game, he would have keeled over on the spot.
goon that he so clearly thinks that true or that it matters is why he'll never succeed. That attitude is completely wrong on so many levels. A moment like that will always come in a season, being a champion requires you to get over it and get on with it. Even Klopp isn't still crying about the Spurs game where they got screwed over.
RocktheCasbah Beat me to it!
Imagine this leaking before an FA cup final, joke of a club.
Boooo
Terrible news, ruined the bank holiday weekend
Sigh. Devastated by that news. So unfair on him!
I feel a bit bad that we got that undeserved win against them earlier in the season now. #justice4Erik
Too far?

Devastating news
Poch to United?
Good news is there’s every chance they hire a bigger disaster.

It's weird because it's so ... managed? Surely the INEOS mob have fed this to the press. Are they trying to make the story something other than City doing them over?
Mirth Poch to United?
"Exploratory talks" have been held ...

An early farewell Erik, you flew too close to the sun, my hero and inspiration ... I guess that's how your head got that way. You were never the type to hang around making an idiot of yourself.
Truly one of the most exciting and enthralling managers this league has offered us. I hope he gets to speak his truth on the way out the door.
They have a bunch of shit players though. A lot of shit and a lot of inexperience. It would take a brave manager to go in there and try to get a consistent tune out of that band. Varane is done. Lisandro Martinez looks crocky. Dalot? Wan Bissaka? Luke Shaw? Some kid.
In midfield another cacophony of pointlessness. Bruno, busted Casemiro, some random guy and some kid.
Forward line. Rashford, 90millyAntony, not haaland, some ugly kids.
Where do you want to start as a new manager. There's a lot to do, and united fans will not give you the time to do it. They're rabid animals.
Good thing he’s never won anything in English football.
Poch to Utd would be a dream as we don’t have to worry about them for a while.
Burnwinter Ten Hag tell-all interview is definitely needed.

this saddens me. ETHs stiff jawed delusion that he could turn things around was a wonderful distraction. I reckon poch or tuchel will do better than him. they won't be the deep fix they need, but they will make more of what's available at united
the ructions at barca, liverpool, bayern, Chelsea, United etc. makes one even more thankful of the stability we have going into next season. we have a great leg up on most of the field
