Feels there’s always something with Nwaneri. Often a fair bit of concerning smoke around him.
I can’t see why we’d hold him if he wants to go elsewhere. If he’s turning his nose up at fighting for a place with the league champions is that really a character you want around the squad? Especially when you contrast that with the seemingly more humble and hard-working approach of MLS.
As for Chelsea though, I don’t see that we would get a good enough deal for him to go there. They won’t be paying big money, they’ll give him a long contract, and as a result of that it would be unfavourable for them to have a sell-on clause as part of the deal.
