One thought occurs to me re: Nwaneri playing centrally. As a few others, I'm yet to be convinced he's ready to sub in for Ode on a regular basis but I wonder with Zubimendi coming in, whether that creates less need for our 'AM' to drop deep and allows more freedom to play in the final third. Think this is where both Ode and Nwaneri are best utilized.

Don Pacifico Yeah I think it could work sometimes. We definitely need someone from the midfield getting into attacking areas more. Odegaards dropped deeper and deeper over the last couple of years and its not been great for his game. And yeah Nwaneri is a very natural number 10 rather than an 8.

Lad needs to work on his off the ball. At youth level he was just like hand me the ball and I'll make something happen. But you can stand still hoping the ball will come.

He's outrageous on the ball just needs to be average off it.

Klaus I think everyone's watched this back a few times. I mean can Phil Foden do that?

Only thing he's missing is top speed, if he had that, he'd be a Salah regen. His lack of it makes him better placed through the middle. Will be interesting to see his trajectory but his finishing is outrageously good, so he's likely to be a 15+ goals a season scorer at the least.

What about that Thierry-esque flick up to turn and shoot? That would have been some goal.

Love that he has proper shooting ability. We've have too many forwards with sub-par to non-existent ability to strike the ball.
