QuincyAbeyie Good point but he can also influence the game in other ways from the left. Skinning a player on the outside from the right forces him to cross the ball but doing the same from the left presents him the opportunity to hit one in. He can also help us retain the ball and progress play better from the left compared to Martinelli or Trossard. Having a good dribbler like him may take away some attention from Saka on the other side etc etc
Saying all that, he may struggle and it may never never work out for him in that position. I'd just like us to give it a go when Saka returns because that's the only spot in our forward line that's still up for grabs. We have seen instances of right footers excelling on the right (Mbappe 2018 world cup), and left footers excelling on the left (Giggs, Raphina). I read he can play in any attacking position, and I think that's likely the case from what I have seen so far. I believe he's got the IQ, technique, skills etc to make it work, just like Van Judas did when he was moved upfront.
