Rice, Saliba and Gabriel are as good as anything you can find in Europe. They are all titans and the way we keep recovering possession is what makes us so dominant. Even Havertz who is heavily criticised for his attacking play, is a defensive monster.
Arteta looks like he's building a team of players who win most of their duels, which means we are constantly able to recover possession when it's lost. We aren't necessarily giving up so few chances because our defenders defend well in our half, even though they do, it's our counter press that is absolutely insane. Whenever we lose the ball in the oppositions half, we are so good at recovering the ball quickly.
The best thing Arteta did for me was invest heavily in the defence. People mocked him for constantly signing defenders, but for me that was a sign of someone who was building a team the right way round.
