You'd hope all the pissweak centre left (and quite a few centre right) opinion-makers who presented the broad alignment of Musk, Thiel and his cronies, and Zuckerberg along with the "network state" people with Trump as some kind of natural convergence, as opposed to a makeshift arrangement that was obviously already fractured, and fracturing further with its address to each contentious matter of policy, will be patiently walking that back.
Instead they'll all just be feeding on this and saying they knew it would happen all along. Hope some will have gotten as far as realising that if Trump and Musk are done and this affects the latter's government contracts and access, other competing interests will be the beneficiaries.
