So all of our left sided players have been woeful this season, Zinchenko, Martinelli and Trossard, yet Xhaka was apparently the easiest man to replace.

daredevil because we didn't get the right replacement. We've had Rice and Havertz instead of Xhaka and Partey. That's a big downgrade in terms of passing. Rice is worth it but we should have got someone different to Havertz that can balance it. The 2 together make it worse.
Control, dominance but no incision. Trossard, Martinelli and Saka were really poor tonight. Rice didn't look himself either.
In that first half we looked rigid in the crucial moments, we were forcing it and lacked composure.
