I'm one of Martinellis biggest fans but today I kind of wanted him hooked off. He just didn't seem at it for some reason. And I don't mean the chance he missed or whatever. He failed to chase down balls that were going out that he could have possibly gotten to, he didn't close down as much, just seemed like there were doubts creeping into his mind about wanting the ball after that missed chance so he stayed in positions where he wasn't able to get on the ball as much. Hopefully he had a minor niggle or something but it's the first game of his in a while where I didn't see much positivity to his game after their goal.

I felt Salah didn't have a great game, just like all the other non-defensive players on the pitch. Both teams played an intense pressing game and largely cancelled each other out.

Some of the comments on here are kinda harsh IMO

Tactics Agree. Liverpool were pressing like mad and the pitch was a horrible slippery mess. Who wouldnt have struggled under those conditions? Zinchenko vs Salah will always be a mismatch. Zinny is just not a defender. Bit harsh to throw him completely under the bus.

All in all it was a very good point.

Just a week ago after the draw against United he said Their foot all is disgusting and Liverpool will never play like that ever. Very very disappointed with a draw.

Today he said what a match, draw is deserved for both team and he was happy to be involved etc.

Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert not Canal plus but this is the sort of thing came to mind when I read your post. Seems we share that awe of Wilo with the French league community, and I think they can spot all the little things as well as the big ones with him.
