Martinelli and Jesus were very bad. Almost as bad as anyone

tazmania yeah not getting the praise for Jesus today. Did very little positive. Mostly played aimless balls across the box. Annoying we don't get in for those but it's not how we play so why's Jesus playing them instead of picking people out.

They just need to gamble at the back post, it’s not that hard. Martinelli in particular. Until they learn to make that run they’re never going to score 20+ goals.

Jesus worked his socks off but probably at the expense of being a focal point. He was behind play a little too often.

That being said, Liverpool were no better in that regard.

konate was a boss though. it's about partnerships. i think they would be good together. saliba has to take upamecano's spot. i don't see him and upamecano being a good partnership where as konate can partner upamecano and saliba.

Gunner89 not clear at all. Zinchenko gifted him that. He's a piss poor defender. Salah got one on one with Gabriel like that too but Gabriel didn't just present him the cut in so it came to nothing.

I’ve been a backer of his and can live with stuff like the goal. But some of the other stuff was him completely losing his cool. I nearly lost it when he was casually jogging back on one of the Liverpool counters.

I’m saying some are saying we won’t win the league because our attack is too inefficient, my takeaway from the game is that defensive spine will get us enough results regardless to at least keep us challenging all the way.

WE need to get out of that mentality? that's not a mentality, it's facts. when have they lost a close title race in the past 5 years? liverpool's own came when they blew everyone away. when it's close city wins. it's not the fans that are going to be feeling the pressure if city is the one chasing us, it'll be the players.

Can’t have passengers in the big games, and I’m sorry but in Zinchenko, Havertz, and Odegaard we have three.

Martinelli may be off form, but he’s shown far more vs Liverpool than he did today. I’ll give Jesus a pass too as playing as a lone CF vs Van Djik and Konate is a mighty task.

Martinelli is frustrating. He's not getting his shots off despite being in good spots so often. The problem is if you drop him no one gets in those spots as much.

Some players keep it too simple when they’re off form (Havertz, ESR, Ode), Martinelli and Trossard both just hold on to the ball like they’ll never get it back if they let go.

Needs to learn to pass and move if he can’t take his man on.
