Another difficult away game, they started the season in bad form but now Brentford has won 3 and lost 2 in the last 5 games(lost vs Liverpool and United), and have so far gotten 4 wins, 4 draws and 4 L's.

They have a long list of injuries: Collins, Damsgaard, Dasilva Henry, Hickey, Schade, Lewis-Potter & of course watching from the casino will be Toney. I know of nobody from that list, if they play if they are important to them...
We will be without bit time player Partey of course, Timber, and ESR(he was fit for 3-4 weeks in a row so it was only natural he would pick up something). Vieira is suspended & Raya cannot play this one. They said Cedric is sick and will be out for a few days like someone gives a fuck about him.

Arteta said this morning that : He’s hopeful Ben White will train today and be available for tomorrow. Odegaard and Jesus are fit.

We do well away from home, and we have some nice games after this, add the fact that Liverpool faces City tomorrow, a win here would be amazing. So lets do it.

Agreed, think we have enough firepower, and he can come off the bench.

Win and we're possibly in top position. Lose and we're likely to drop down to fourth. This is a meaningful game to make sure team picks up where it left off, trying to go spotless up to around boxing day. Take the influence on the result away from the refs.

Martin, Declan and Bukayo are among of the most overworked U23 players (former two ranking top 5) in the top leagues over the last 2 or so seasons. Really hope Martin's 3+ weeks out will pay dividends.

Caught a bit of the recent Bees game against West Ham, they were very effective at swinging in crosses from wide, so the full backs (whoever plays - hopefully Tommy and Benny Blanco from the Bronx) will need to be really on it to stop that supply. Otherwise it's going to be a fun evening for Gabriel & Wilo.

Given the injuries the Bees have, this one of those games you feel a top team would absolutely go and win, 2-0 with a minimum of fuss but I'm not necessarily expecting this to be the case. A good start will be crucial cos if we let Brentford and their lairy crowd get on top of us, it's going to be a long old day. Maybe it's a Declan Rice day, it definitely doesn't feel like an Eddie Nketiah one.

Had a dream last night that we scored a penalty in injury time to go 5-4 up only to concede again and the game to finish 5-5. I should also point out we were playing Leicester. Make of that what you will.

Interested to see how we tackle this game. If there’s one redeeming quality to our football this season, it’s that we’re doing a pretty good job of dictating these sorts of games and nullifying the crowd.
