HomeSteak He tops the passes to the opposition chart, you are spot on. 70% pass success, worst of all our outfield players. Lowest numbers of completed passes apart from Eddie (normal for the CF to have a lower number than everyone else). It was a fucking shocking performance and TBH I think people are only rating it because of that yellow card he got. Frankly the best thing he did all game. And we are talking about the top earner at the club, what a fucking joke.

I can take losing to Newcastle at St James normally. Afterall only 2 teams (Liverpool and us) have won here for the past 3 years in the league.

CPM the style of play seems to have drained all our forward players of form, and they seem to actually be getting worse

As disappointing as Havertz has been, this is perhaps the worst example of it. Thought he had his best game for us until he ran out of steam.

Declan Rice is great, but he is not a forward player or even an attacker. He's a 6, and playing him with Jorginho is a net negative.

He stepped in for Odegaard today. If Odegaard put in that performance we'd all say he had a bad game. That being the top of Havertz form doesn't make it good.

5 years in, Arteta still has no clue how to coach this team to score a goal. Pass to Martinelli and Saka and pray has stopped working. Where do we go from here?

Don Pacifico Some of us have been reiterating this for the entire season but keep getting replies like we are 3rd, we are doing well etc. Underlying stats don't really lie, it was going to catch us up sooner or later. We can't keep relying on penalties and then con ourselves that our xG says we deserve to win when we don't even make the keeper have any decent saves week in week out.

KingslandBarge Saliba Rice Tomiyasu Gabriel all played well. What's in common? They are all defensive natured personnels and our structure puts more spotlight on the backline than in attack.

Saka is so predictable, Martinelli less so but still easy to snuff out if you know his pattern. Overly structured football that relies on individual brilliance and not combination play always leads to stale attacks.

Clrnc Nketiah and Saka swapped positions once in the whole match, and it was notable. We just cycled the ball back until everyone was back in their box. There is no freedom, no creativity, no joy at all this season. I hate watching us play, and I'm starting to dread every match.

We have set up a team which has no actually plan to score goals. Arteta showing his stubbornness drilling the team to the smallest point on the defensive side but no idea for how to attack. You won't win leagues with that strategy when does he recognise he needs to change things do we have to come through a whole season and then learn.

Coombs — easily the worst and most timid game I’ve seen from him. As a wide forward he is embarrassing at attacking crosses.
