Clrnc Honestly, 4231 was the only base approach that was making sense to me in the lead up to this game: Tomiyasu at left back, double pivot of Partey and Rice with Rice given freedom, Ødegaard as sole 10, Jesus and Trossard on the wings, and a close call between Havertz and Nketiah at centre forward. I remain a little unclear about what the decided approach was, and about a few other takeaways.
