Not sure about smash and grab. Dortmund had the better chances overall. Apart from those headers from crosses and set prices, Newcastle we’re pretty poor.

Hopefully we are playing them in 10 days at a good time. They play Man Utd away in the league cup on the Wed before our game (we play West Ham same evening) where they may be looking for revenge so may play a strong side.

Sicario2 - Tier 1 I mean if we had that ref performance we would be livid. Clear pen on Almiron first half not given, then Dortmund goal should have been ruled out for a foul on Gordon.

I think that would have been very harsh to rule out for a foul on Gordon, wasn't much in it and Gordon went down extremely easily.

Only watched the first half but at that point it was a very open game that could easily have gone either way.

I know where you are coming from but when has a player with such limited ability had such a decorated career (esp being a key figure and not a player winning medals on the sidelines).

The guy just turned 37 and scoring winners in the CL v PSG. Who in their wildest dreams thought he would be the French all time leading goal scorer whilst he was with us?

He’s a legend for defying the odds and winning what he has won and still going strong in the twilight of his career.

Hats off to him.

That is all good but I will never forgive him. The guy stank out the place for us, went to Chelsea fair enough. Scored against us and then gloated, ungrateful little fuck.

He was decent for us, he just wasn't Henry, RVP, etc level so people freaked out. He was a 15-20 goal striker when we were used to 20-30 goal strikers.

He is a good squad player but if he is still starting for us now I will be livid.

We don't even cross the ball much if not at all, we don't have 2 out and out fullbacks like Theo and Calabria feeding our strikers.

Clrnc we cross it quite a bit and I think we'd cross even more if we had a target man. Think thats why Arteta originally wanted Vlahovic. When you look at how we send it long often and the positions our wide men get into I definitely think a classic big man centre forward would be great for us. Not really many around of a high enough quality though.
